About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Waterview Hills Campus offers an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful setting in the rolling hills of North Salem, within a 5 Star Rated facility in Westchester County. This role is available for full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts, with a requirement to work every other weekend. The LPN will be integral to providing high-quality care and enhancing the resident experience in both the Waterview Hills and Salem Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare facilities, which are dedicated to delivering outstanding subacute rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. As an LPN, you will provide daily support to unit leadership and respond promptly to the needs of residents and their families within the scope of nursing practice. Utilizing your nursing skills and judgment, you will prioritize and deliver quality direct resident care, ensuring safety and promoting the well-being of each resident. Your responsibilities will include administering standard nursing treatments and medications, monitoring residents for desired or unwanted effects, and documenting vital signs and treatment responses. Collaboration is key in this role; you will communicate with other care team members to revise and update nursing care plans based on pertinent findings, including lab results and any incidents or concerns. Additionally, you will oversee and evaluate the delivery of care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), ensuring that resident needs are met effectively and compassionately. This position requires a dedicated and enthusiastic approach to care, with a genuine interest in helping residents who may be ill, injured, disabled, or emotionally upset.
