Requirements

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), within 90 days of hire, Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS) within 6 months of hire, I.V. Competency preferred with intent to obtain within 1 year of hire, Handle With Care (HWC) preferred.
• LPN License for the State of Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
