Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Kirksville, MO Department: Crisis Center Employment Type: Full-Time Scheduled Hours: Wednesday through Friday: 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM Saturday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM 🎉 Sign-On Bonus: Eligible candidates may receive up to $2,500 ! 💰 Recent pay increase for nursing roles at the Crisis Center! Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active LPN or RN license in Missouri
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health or substance use settings preferred
- Strong documentation and EHR skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to interpret medical documents and lab results
- Commitment to confidentiality and compassionate care
Responsibilities
- Administer medications (oral, injection, self-administered, etc.)
- Conduct physical and mental health assessments
- Perform psychiatric screenings and document findings
- Monitor medication inventory and coordinate refills
- Communicate with clients and providers regarding medication needs
- Assist with lab work and phlebotomy
- Maintain accurate medical and medication records
- Support infection control and hygiene practices
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning
