Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides hands-on nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This includes delivering treatments, monitoring patient progress, supporting care planning, and ensuring safety and comfort in alignment with individualized patient needs.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • License: Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required; IV Certification highly preferred or obtained within 6 months.
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 6 months of Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and administer treatments as directed.
  • Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and care planning.
  • Support physicians, RNs, and therapists in coordinating patient care.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and quality standards.
