About The Position

Starr Regional Health and Rehab, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Long Term Care. This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. The schedule consists of 3x12 hour shifts one week and 4x12 hour shifts the next week, with day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and rotating weekends. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in making communities healthier by providing exceptional care to patients under the direction of an RN.

Requirements

• Current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• May administer medication and document patient care given.
• Assists RN with the development of the plan of care.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
