About The Position

Arisa Health is growing, and we are searching for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will have experience working with adults in a clinical setting to provide assessments including checking vital signs, administering medications and injections, and working with insurance to approve some of the medications for our clients. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year's experience working in a mental health facility. This position will be working in the Jonesboro Clinic, serving the Arisa Health Medical Services Nurse Triage System Statewide. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties. This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly) and reports to the Nurse Manager. Shift Available: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Associate degree or advanced specialized training
• Arkansas LPN Licensed
• One year experience as an LPN
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to coordinate medications
• Provide some direct nursing care
• Implement physician orders
• Administer medications, meeting with clients to do med reconciliation (along with treating provider)
• Complete appropriate records and documentation
