About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), the licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Graduate of a school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
- Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
- Current Kansas LPN licensure
- Intravenous (IV) certification
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
