Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse Territory: Snohomish County (Snohomish, Stanwood, Camano Island, Marysville, Everett, Lynnwood, Arlington, Lake Stevens) Type: Part-time or Full-time available (PT-24 hours or FT-40 hours) Wage: $38-$43 Work Schedule: Flexible, usually Monday-Friday during the day. Home Health Acute Care Patient LPN Training provided. Learning opportunities: Wound Certification Growth Opportunities: growth opportunities to become an RN, Intake Coordinator, and other opportunities. The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the State(s) of planned practice.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of geriatric population and their common needs and concerns.
- Capable of prolonged or considerable walking or standing.
- Able to lift, position and/or transfer patients.
- Able to lift supplies and equipment.
- Capable of considerable reaching, stooping bending, kneeling, and/or crouching.
- Possesses visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) to two (2) years nursing experience preferred.
- Community health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
