About The Position

Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our VNA Home Health team. This position offers rates starting at $27 per hour and includes a $6,000 Sign-On Bonus, which will be paid throughout the first year of employment. As a part of our comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania, you will provide essential home health services in Armstrong, Butler, and surrounding counties. This role is vital in promoting education and healing in the home, allowing you to build one-on-one relationships with those we serve. The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN is a direct patient care position that provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of PA.
  • Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Independently visit patients in their homes.
  • Promote education and healing in the home environment.
  • Build one-on-one relationships with patients.
