About The Position
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking candidates for the position of Licensed Practical Nurse at Community Homes located in Douglasville, Georgia and Stone Mountain, GA. The Community Integration Home (CIH) is an outpatient service of Georgia Regional Hospital that provides care and treatment to patients with a mental health diagnosis and forensic status. This position involves performing practical nursing care and related technical work in the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals with a mental health diagnosis. Full Performance employees will receive general instructions and specific guidance in cases requiring advanced treatment and procedures. The selected candidate will perform work independently, receiving specific guidance only in new, unusual, or emergency situations, and will receive periodic review of work to ensure acceptable practices are followed.
