About The Position

Arnot Health is currently seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Behavioral Science Unit team. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to make a difference in mental health care while advancing their nursing career in a supportive, patient-centered environment. As an LPN on the Behavioral Science Unit, you will provide direct care to patients under RN supervision, assist with medication administration and treatment, monitor and document patient status and behavior, support therapeutic interventions in a structured inpatient setting, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program
• Current NYS LPN License (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Strong communication, observation, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients under RN supervision
• Assist with medication administration and treatment
• Monitor and document patient status and behavior
• Support therapeutic interventions in a structured inpatient setting
