About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a clinical staff position at the outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic HOPD, with emphasis on the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN provides clinic-related nursing care and nursing support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
• Current valid licensed practical nurse (LPN) license.
• Demonstrates willingness and ability to maintain clinical competency as required by department.
• One year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred.
• IV certification required or ability to obtain.
