The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified on-call Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN4) for the Airway Heights Corrections Center located in Airway Heights, WA. Under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse 4 supports the Department's mission to improve public safety by assisting in the implementation of the nursing process and delivering services to promote health, foster healing, and support coping and adjustment of various health conditions. The Airway Heights Correction Center facility offers both inpatient and outpatient care to treat a diverse patient population with varying levels of health needs: Our Inpatient unit offers 21 beds to provide acute care in a step-down infirmary setting. DOC treats many chronic diseases with this facility specializing in liver disease, cancer care and HEP-C. The Outpatient clinic see between 10-50 patients a day for a variety of reasons and treatments.
