About The Position

Prefer five years of experience in the plumbing trade. Must be able to troubleshoot and determine the equipment and material needed for repairs. Will need to have good verbal and written skills and the ability to work alone and with others. Must Have a Journeyman license. Performs a variety of plumbing trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and piping system. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of equipment such as water heaters, fixtures, piping systems, back flows, shower valves, sinks and faucets, and other equipment. Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the system or equipment, and using a variety of hand tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be able to work with others.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Knowledge of Plumbing code.
• Alabama Journeyman's License.
• Must have a valid Alabama driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 50lb.
• Must Have a Journeyman license.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls.
• Performs Maintenance and Repair on all types of Plumbed systems to include water, sewer, storm, gas,
• Installs new piping systems.
• Will be required to rotate on schedule for "On call" after hours.
• And other duties as required.
