Requirements

• Must be licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical plans.
• Skilled with plumbing tools and familiar with various pipe materials.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing systems in new construction and renovation projects.
• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes accurately.
• Connect fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and water heaters.
• Follow blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks and clogs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replace damaged components.
• Communicate clearly with clients and provide accurate estimates.
