About The Position

Owner-managed property is seeking a Licensed Plumber for a direct hire opportunity at a prominent apartment community in Richmond, VA. This is an excellent position for an experienced plumber looking to join an owner-managed company with opportunities for growth and advancement within a supportive team environment. NO travel require and NO on-call hours required. The Licensed Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in apartment units and common areas to ensure functionality, safety, and code compliance.

Requirements

Valid plumbing license required.
Proven experience as a plumber preferably in apartment or multi-family housing.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and appliances.
Diagnose plumbing issues and perform effective repairs in a timely manner.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
Respond to resident service requests and emergency plumbing issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to schedule and complete plumbing projects.
Assist in preventative maintenance programs for plumbing systems.
Adhere to all safety policies and maintain clean, organized work areas.
