Looking for a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to start ASAP! Basic Schedule: Full-time position; 80 hour bi-weekly schedule; Hourly Holy Angels is a place unlike any other. Requirements

  • Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities
  • At least one year of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

  • Works with assigned residents in one-on-one setting to surpass set goals and experience “mercy moments”, as we like to say.
  • Act as champion and liaison for residents in terms of orthopedic evaluations, selection of adaptive equipment and any needed services. This includes developing splint and positioning schedule guidelines.
  • Serves as a member of the clinical and target teams to identify best ways to support residents.
  • Coordinates programming and consults with Physical Therapist to provide highest quality of life for the residents.
  • Help provide unique opportunities for residents, including operating and coordinating therapeutic spa program.
  • Support teammates by providing regular in-service training in regards to Physical Therapy.
  • Highlight successes by residents by providing accurate progress notes.
  • Attend scheduled appointments with physician(s) and document staff task capabilities to ensure safety of residents and employee.
