About The Position

The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant will treat patients referred for Physical Therapy services throughout Cape Fear Valley Health System. The role requires effective teamwork to improve quality patient care and align with departmental and system missions and values. The assistant must apply knowledge and skills effectively, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and have excellent interpersonal skills to assess situations and respond appropriately. The position requires communication skills, the ability to understand defined roles, and the capability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) certification from NC Board Physical Therapy Examiners.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain FIM Credentialing within the first 45 days of employment.
• Minimum proficiency score of 80% required for credentialing.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, turn, twist, sit, and walk frequently.
• Ability to manipulate equipment.
