The Recovery from Addictions Program (RAP), operated by the Department of Mental Health (DMH), is seeking self-motivated Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II's or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I's interested in a specialty role. The Human Services Coordinator I, functioning as a Licensed or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, will facilitate psycho-educational groups, complete admission assessments, participate in short-term individual treatment, collaborate with community agencies, Clinical staff, and Aftercare staff to make referrals. The incumbent meets with clients and participates in team meetings and must comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2 and Part 8, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy, and HIPAA Regulations. The selected candidate will work 40 hours per week from 8:30AM - 5:00PM. The days off are Sunday and Saturday.
