PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. Requirements
- Active Florida Optician Licensed (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with lensometers, pupilometers, and optical software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and service-driven
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of VA optical benefits (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate service to our Veterans
- Fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear with precision
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience every visit
- Collaborate with a supportive optical team
- Maintain compliance with VA security and background requirements
