We are currently seeking a licensed optician to join our growing optical department in Venice. The ideal candidate is a motivated multi-tasker with a positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong commitment to patient care. Flexibility is essential, as occasional overtime may be required and travel to our other office locations is part of the role.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed optician in the state of Florida.
• Must have an active and valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients and customers with the selection of frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
• Ordering lenses from the lab.
• Filing insurance claims.
• Final inspection of lab work prior to notifying patient that their order is ready.
• Return and track returns for inventory purposes.
• Processing invoices for payment.
