About The Position
At Pearle Vision, we believe that nothing should keep patients from getting the eye care they need. As a Licensed Optician, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience that attracts and retains customers. Your primary responsibility will be to foster customer retention and promote outstanding satisfaction among associates and doctors. You will be part of a team that is creative, energetic, and focused on providing exciting opportunities in eye care and retail. In this position, you will drive profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture and practicing effective retail sales skills. You will develop professional business relationships with other associates and doctors, ensuring that each customer receives personalized attention. Your duties will include filling ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fitting and adapting lenses and frames, and utilizing optical prescriptions to evaluate customer needs. You will ask lifestyle questions to determine the best vision solutions for customers and recommend specific lenses, coatings, and frames that suit their requirements. Additionally, you will conduct precise measurements using appropriate tools, troubleshoot vision issues, and assist in training new associates. You will also ensure that the store is effectively merchandised according to company standards and assist with the implementation of approved marketing programs. Your attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service will be essential in maximizing Managed Vision Care relationships and sales opportunities.
