About The Position

Healthcare Therapy Services (HTS) is currently seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our teams across two senior living communities located in South Bend, IN. The OTA will provide high-quality occupational therapy to residents in a supportive environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our seniors by fostering their physical health, independence, and overall well-being. · Full-time position at 30 - 40 hours per week. · Compensated drive time and mileage for travel between the two buildings, which are located within two miles of each other, mere minutes away. · Full-time Benefits: Generous PTO with a cash-out option, Comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with company match and Roth IRA, Free CEUs with extensive clinical growth resources, and support from a therapist-led team that values autonomy, collaboration, and innovation. Primary Facility: · Small, well-established senior living community located on the riverfront of the St. Joseph River. · Offers rehab, skilled nursing, long term care, and assisted living. · Spacious, fully-equipped therapy gym. Secondary Facility: · A 5-star rated (by CMS) life plan community located within the tri-campus area. · Offers rehab, skilled nursing, long term care, and assisted and independent living. · Fully equipped therapy gym has a private office, training kitchen and training bath, plus an outdoor area designed for therapy. Also hiring PRN to work on an occasional, as-needed basis. Requirements

  • Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
