Perform duties such as taking and recording vital statistics, feed, bathe, dress, groom, move patients and change linens. May also perform light Homemaker duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Adhere to patient/client LNA care plan as set up the while maintaining a healthy and safe environment. Reports and documents patient/client’s needs and responses to the Nursing supervisor. Reports patient/client’s change in condition or situations immediately. Provide physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities, such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising. Turn or reposition bedridden patients. Record vital statistics or other health information. Review patients' dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure patient receives appropriate diet. Measure and record food and liquid intake or urinary and fecal output, reporting changes to medical or nursing staff. Monitor patients to detect health problems and advise Nursing supervisor. Perform light housekeeping and Homemaker duties deemed acceptable by the agency in conjunction with or in the absence of the agency Homemaker. Perform other duties assigned.
