About The Position

Marquis Companies consists of: Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab and Consonus Pharmacy. Full-Time, Part-Time and On-Call Positions are available. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services, including refilling and cleaning the stock cart, and other nursing duties as assigned, all in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state requirements. As a Registered Nurse (RN), your nursing and leadership skills will ensure quality nursing care for residents, and you will direct the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants, including meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State
  • Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administering medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services (LPN)
  • Refilling and cleaning the stock cart (LPN)
  • Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state (LPN)
  • Other nursing duties as assigned (LPN)
  • Ensuring that quality nursing care is provided to the residents (RN)
  • Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants (RN)
  • Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (RN)
