This position offers the best of both worlds: the professional opportunities and cultural amenities of Anchorage, Alaska’s largest and most diverse city. Anchorage offers quick access to coastal trails, urban greenbelts, world-class biking and Nordic skiing, and the Chugach Mountains just minutes from town. Wasilla, nestled in the Mat-Su Valley, provides a gateway to iconic Alaska recreation—glacier-fed lakes, hiking and ATV trails, fishing, and sweeping mountain vistas, located in the beautiful Matanuska-Susitna region. Providers enjoy access to world-class outdoor recreation, a strong sense of community, and a meaningful opportunity to support individuals and families in two unique and rapidly growing areas. Our mission is to strengthen Alaska communities and improve the lives of our clients by delivering exceptional behavioral healthcare services. We are a CCBHC in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. We are also a member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. We believe all Alaskans with all mental health and addiction needs should have access to the best possible care. We are proud to be part of a dedicated team committed to ending the stigma around mental health and changing the lives of our clients for the better. Our medical department is dedicated to helping our clients improve their lives through a coordinated approach to care involving clients, their caregivers, their clinical staff, and primary care providers.
