About The Position

Overview:We are seeking a Part-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents. In this role, you will deliver high-quality assessments—including Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) testing—and provide clinically sound diagnostic impressions that help guide treatment and support for youth and families. This position is ideal for a licensed professional with strong assessment skills, clinical insight, and a passion for improving behavioral health outcomes for children and adolescents.What You’ll Bring: Expertise in administering structured diagnostic assessments, including ADOS, PHQ-9, C-SSRS, and biopsychosocial evaluations Strong clinical interviewing skills with the ability to gather accurate information from children, adolescents, and their caregivers Ability to analyze, interpret, and synthesize assessment data into comprehensive diagnostic reports Knowledge of behavioral health services, evidence-based practices, and community resources Clear, professional communication skills when working with clients, caregivers, and collaborative providers Commitment to ethical practice, attention to detail, and maintaining the highest standard of clinical careWhat You’ll Have: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field Active licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, or equivalent) Familiarity with administering and scoring psychological tests/assessments and interpreting statistical results Experience developing and implementing clinical treatment plans Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic models for mental health treatment Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet Pennsylvania residency requirements Prior ADOS training preferred (training may be provided)A Typical Day May Include: Conducting ADOS assessments to evaluate communication, social interaction, behavior, and play in children and adolescents Completing comprehensive mental health intakes using validated screening tools and structured diagnostic interviews Meeting with caregivers and youth to assess social communication deficits, nonverbal behaviors, and relationship-building skills Reviewing assessment findings and formulating diagnostic impressions Preparing detailed, clinically accurate documentation and reports Collaborating with caregivers, providers, and treatment teams as needed Staying current with best practices in diagnostic assessment and child/adolescent mental healthPerks with a Purpose Our benefits are created with YOU in mind. Requirements
