About The Position

A Licensed Mental Health Therapist with the Lilac Center provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team. The Lilac Center is a leading outpatient mental health practice dedicated to helping individuals overcome emotional and behavioral challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care. With a focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and integrated treatment approaches, we support clients in building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthier relationships. Our team works with adolescents and adults across multiple locations in Kansas and Missouri, providing individual therapy, group skills training, intensive outpatient programs, medication management, and comprehensive support tailored to each person’s unique needs. Requirements

Active, unrestricted license: LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in Kansas and/or Missouri
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
Possess or be willing to learn DBT therapy
Ability to provide therapy independently
Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.)
Experience in outpatient or group practice settings

Nice To Haves

Preference for DBT therapy knowledge, with training available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Facilitate or co-facilitate individual and group sessions, teaching DBT skills in our Intensive Outpatient Program
Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
Maintain an active caseload of approximately26 clients per week; a minimum of 15 clients per week required
Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
