Requirements

  • Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to youth and family mental health
  • Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy via secure telehealth platforms
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to children, adolescents, and young adults (e.g., CBT, trauma-informed care)
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and safety planning when clinically appropriate
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized, client-centered treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, school personnel, and other care providers
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and team meetings
  • Coordinate referrals to higher levels of care or community resources as needed
  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the EHR
  • Maintain up-to-date treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries
  • Adhere to all state, federal, and organizational compliance standards
  • Provide psychoeducation to caregivers and families
  • Support family involvement in treatment planning and progress
  • Address barriers to care and promote consistent engagement
  • Participate in supervision, training, and professional development activities
  • Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor or support junior clinicians (for independently licensed therapists)
