Requirements

  • Master's degree in a human services field (counseling, social work, family therapy).
  • Two years of experience.
  • LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or similar licensure required.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to empathize and establish trust and rapport with a variety of clients.
  • Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment and discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Training/certifications in one or more of the following areas is desired: PCIT, CPP, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma-Informed play therapy, and Child-Centered Play Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling for individuals and families using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
  • Support clients dealing with depression, addiction, stress, self-esteem issues, and relationship concerns.
  • Offer guidance for parenting and vocational challenges as needed.
  • Conduct assessments of mental status, personality, behavior, and family dynamics.
  • Deliver individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to create and implement treatment plans.
  • Communicate with staff, insurance providers, and families about client progress.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and service summaries.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to crisis intervention efforts when needed.
