Licensed Mental Health Therapist - PHP/IOP under General Psychiatry at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a Full-Time, Day Shift position. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. This is a combined posting for a Social Worker LCSW, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. The Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Mental Health Therapist LMFT practices in a treatment setting under clinical supervision and is dedicated to evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. This position will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate and diagnose patients. This position will provide specialized psychotherapy services, as described in the CPT, to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified. Under direct clinical supervision, this position will utilize established approaches and standards; complete assessment of patient risk to self and/or others; complete and implement risk reduction/mitigation plans to ensure patient and community safety; incorporate evidence based approaches to psychotherapy including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and the recovery model, Under clinical supervision, this position will also demonstrate effectiveness in individual, group and family psychotherapy and multi-modal treatment settings. This position works under clinical supervision, in a licensing board approved plan of supervision to achieve licensure with a Board qualified supervisor certified by the OR state Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.
