Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work with license – either LSW or LPC required; experience providing therapy/counseling preferred.
- Ability to maintain thorough, timely, well documented treatment plans, case notes and intake summaries, illustrating caseload measurable treatment progress in computerized medical records system.
- Must have working knowledge of mental illness, psychiatric symptoms, and their impact on functioning and behavior of a diverse client population.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Apply unique expertise and professional judgment in the application of Concord’s multidisciplinary approach to client treatment and peer supervision.
- Assess clients and develop therapeutic treatment plans to address problems such as substance abuse, psychological or emotional problems or dysfunctional families.
- Participate in community education activities as assigned.
