About The Position

Adelphi is seeking New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Professionals to provide therapeutic services to PreK–12 students and their families within a public school setting. This position supports a district-wide therapeutic mental health program and requires collaboration with school staff, participation in IEP/504 meetings, and delivery of individual, group, and family therapy.

Requirements

• New Jersey License
• Master’s degree or higher in either social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
• CBT, DBT, or evidence-based intervention experience

Nice To Haves

• School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and intake evaluations in accordance with NJ licensure standards.
• Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings to support development and implementation of student plans.
• Provide and document individual, group, and family therapy services as required.
• Maintain FERPA-compliant records and clinical documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and perform other related duties as assigned.
