About The Position

MindCare Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a licensed mental health professional that is looking for a partnership in a growing organization with a strong team-mentality working in a correctional/forensic setting. Position Summary: The LMHP provides mental health services such as intake, crisis intervention, individual counseling and group counseling Acts as a member of the treatment team to determine, coordinate and implement appropriate inmate/patient care The LMHP prepares and regularly maintains progress notes and discharge summaries on patients Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the inmates/patient's treatment plan The LMHP provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context Refers inmate/patient for outside services once released All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
Must possess a current and unrestricted license in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Applicants must successfully pass the required criminal background check
