We’re supporting an established program in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and are seeking a Mental Health Outpatient Counselor to contribute to its continued growth and success. Requirements

  • Active licensure as an LPC or LCSW.
  • Master’s degree in human services or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience working with adults experiencing mental illness.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of recovery principles and recovery-focused service systems.
  • Possession of a valid Louisiana Driver’s License and compliance with all necessary state and federal clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient setting
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
