Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Speech Tactics, PCCharlotte, NC
13d

About The Position

Speech Tactics is a leading pediatric interdisciplinary therapy organization serving children and families through speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, ABA, and psychological services. We believe therapy is not transactional-  it is transformational. Our model integrates the whole child, the whole family, and the broader systems that shape development. We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC/LPC) who is clinically strong, diagnostically precise, and committed to thoughtful case conceptualization. This is not a “clock in, provide sessions, clock out” position. This role is for a clinician who thinks critically, formulates beyond surface symptoms, and understands that accurate diagnosis shapes a child’s entire trajectory. The ideal candidate is confident in DSM-5-TR diagnosis, skilled in comprehensive diagnostic intakes, and grounded in a clearly articulated theoretical orientation (CBT, play therapy, attachment-based, trauma-informed, or related models). The candidate should value interdisciplinary collaboration and see therapy as part of a larger ecosystem of care. If you are a clinician who enjoys differential diagnosis, developmental formulation, systemic thinking, and meaningful impact-  this role was built for you.
