Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
- Licensure required: LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LADC
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, clinical psychology, psychiatric nursing, or related field; OR, any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
- Licensed as a Social Worker, Marriage/Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor required.
- Ability to Commute: Beaumont, TX (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in correctional, crisis, or substance abuse settings is preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and crisis interventions
- Provide suicide risk evaluations and prevention support
- Deliver MAT and substance abuse counseling
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and release plans
- Coordinate care with medical, jail, and community providers
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed
- Offer training for correctional staff on mental health topics
