About The Position
Our team is looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide structured, remote therapy services for clients in Rhode Island. This role focuses on helping clients address mental health challenges through regular counseling, treatment planning, and clinical follow-up. You will play an important part in making mental health care easier to access while maintaining strong clinical standards in a telehealth environment.
Requirements
- Active LMHC license in Rhode Island
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- At least 1 year of clinical counseling experience
- Strong experience with telehealth or willingness to work fully remote
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches
- Comfortable using EHR systems and virtual platforms
Responsibilities
- Provide remote therapy sessions through a secure online platform
- Perform initial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Guide clients through therapeutic interventions and coping strategies
- Keep documentation current, complete, and compliant
- Recognize and respond to crisis or high-risk situations appropriately
