About The Position
We are currently looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide telehealth services for clients throughout Iowa. This role centers on direct counseling care, including assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic support, and documentation. Requirements
- Active LMHC license in Iowa
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- At least 1 year of clinical counseling experience
- Strong experience with telehealth or willingness to work fully remote
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches
- Comfortable using EHR systems and virtual platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead individual therapy sessions in a remote setting
- Complete client intakes and clinical assessments
- Establish treatment goals and provide ongoing counseling support
- Use evidence-based approaches to address a range of mental health concerns
- Document all services, progress notes, and treatment updates on time
- Monitor client needs and escalate urgent concerns when appropriate
