About The Position

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate mental health counseling to clients. The LMHC / LCSW will assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide clients in overcoming emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. This position plays a key role in promoting mental wellness and helping clients achieve their goals.

Requirements

• State licensure or certification as a LCSW or LMHC.
• Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Must be fully licensed by the State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision.
• Specialized training in specific therapeutic techniques.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in electronic health records systems.
• Knowledge of community resources and services, and 2+ years of experience in clinical mental health counseling.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
