Location: Busy Detox & Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Center Position Type: Full-time | Supervision Provided | Mission-Driven Environment Are you an LMHCA seeking meaningful clinical experience with a high-acuity, trauma-impacted population? Join our fast-paced, compassionate team at a Substance Use Disorder treatment center offering detox and residential care. This is a unique opportunity to build deep clinical skills while making a real difference in clients' lives. What We Offer: Weekly clinical supervision by LMHC/SUDP (via video) A supportive team environment Intensive, hands-on experience with a diverse and complex client population The chance to develop trauma-informed clinical skills in a real-world setting What You’ll Do: You’ll be called on to show up fully present and respond with grounded, in-the-moment interventions, such as: Teaching box breathing during acute anxiety Holding space for emotional expression without judgment Redirecting clients during trauma narratives Offering simple reframing and grounding techniques Using mindfulness cues (like 5-4-3-2-1) Applying MI-style reflections and curiosity Knowing your limits and asking for support when needed You’re a Great Fit If You: Hold an active LMHCA license in Washington State Have experience in counseling, SUD treatment, or hold an SUDP-T certification (preferred) Are confident working independently in a high-intensity, ever-changing environment Have strong skills in emotional regulation, crisis response, and boundary setting Practice trauma-informed, culturally competent care Are especially attuned to the needs of Veterans and Native/Tribal communities This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals while working within a supportive team environment dedicated to professional growth and excellence.
Requirements
- Hold an active LMHCA license in Washington State
- Are confident working independently in a high-intensity, ever-changing environment

- Are especially attuned to the needs of Veterans and Native/Tribal communities
Nice To Haves
