About The Position
As a Licensed Master Social Worker ( LMSW ) at The Arc Wayne in Newark, NY, you will play a vital role in delivering impactful clinical consultation and comprehensive social work services for the Article 16 Clinic. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the well-being of people supported. Complete timely and accurate service documentation per clinic and Agency polices. Provides clinical consultation to Agency programs Notifies supervisor and caregiver of any significant events or incidents occurring during therapy May provide services to a person through their collateral for the purposes of enhancing the effectiveness of the treatments enabling the person to remain with family or placement setting Maintains confidentiality of information regarding service recipients Provides Social Work services per New York State part 679 Regulations for Clinic participants as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent communication, written and active listening skills.
- Professional and serve as a role model.
- New York State License in Master Social Work ( LMSW )
- A valid New York State driver's license that meets Agency Driver standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete timely and accurate service documentation per clinic and Agency polices.
- Provides clinical consultation to Agency programs
