About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – Child CPEP for an exciting job in New York, NY. Schedule Details 4x10-hour rotating shifts per week 36 hours per week Rotating weekends required Shift options: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).
• Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by New York State (primary source verification required).
• Minimum one (1) year of LMSW experience.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Prior hospital experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in psychiatric emergency or CPEP settings.
• Strong crisis intervention and behavioral health assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for children and adolescents in psychiatric crisis.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services in a hospital emergency setting.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop treatment and discharge plans.
• Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and families.
• Coordinate referrals to inpatient, outpatient, and community-based behavioral health services.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and New York State regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and team meetings.
