Our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program is a fast-paced crisis intervention program that provides a full range of observation and outpatient psychiatric services for all ages. We are a State designated Community Health Center. What you will do: Crisis intervention and triage patients to the appropriate setting: waiting areas – voluntary or involuntary, children/family or emergency department evaluations. Care for and provide treatment modalities to outpatient and extended observation clients. Responsible for providing intensive casework, assessment, intervention, and referral services to patients and/or their families. Emphasis is placed on providing for patient’s social needs, exercising initiative and independent judgement based upon professional knowledge, experience, and hospital policy. Collaborative team approach with social work, psychiatrists, clinical affiliates, and unit support staff. Liaison to other services along the continuum of care and community support services.
