Licensed Massage Therapist Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist. In this role, you will be responsible for administering professional massage and body treatments with an emphasis on cleanliness, and excellent customer service beyond the expectations of the guests. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll enhance the guest experience by providing personalized treatments that promote relaxation, wellness, and rejuvenation. Your care and professionalism will create a calming environment that leaves guests feeling valued, refreshed, and eager to return. This is a commission-based position
Requirements
- We do require that you have a background of 2 years of massage experience.
- 1 year of specialized experience working in a spa or salon, or directly related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training in spa, salon, stylist services is acceptable.
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and will be willing to train in the spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
- Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the resort
- Provide accurate appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
