About The Position

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to support the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) program in a secure clinical setting in Soledad, CA. Requirements

• Minimum 12 continuous months of direct patient care within the last 3 years
• Valid MFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (hard copy required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions such as individual and group counseling
• Provide services specific to the ISUDT program, ensuring care aligns with substance use disorder treatment goals
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and care coordination with other clinical professionals
• Support transitional care planning and connect patients with community resources upon release
• Evaluate patients using family systems and biopsychosocial models, creating solution-focused treatment plans
• Document patient progress, contribute to discharge planning, and participate in rehabilitation coordination
• Attend case conferences, staff trainings, and multidisciplinary meetings as directed
• Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards in all clinical communications
