About The Position
We are hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for a remote part-time opening serving Augusta, GA. This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys helping clients work through family tension, relationship challenges, and life transitions in a virtual setting. You’ll meet with clients through telehealth, create practical treatment plans, document care, and provide support that helps clients improve everyday functioning and relationship health.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Active LMFT license in Georgia
- Experience providing therapy in a clinical setting
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems
- Strong communication and organization skills
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families via telehealth
- Identify clinical concerns through assessments and ongoing sessions
- Develop treatment plans with clear and realistic goals
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical records
- Help clients address communication breakdowns, stress, and family-related issues
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust when needed
- Stay compliant with privacy laws, clinical guidelines, and licensing standards
