About The Position

IES Residential is currently seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician for projects in Clemson, SC. The ideal candidate will hold a current Journeyman License, bring strong electrical construction experience, and demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Current and active Journeyman Electrician License
• 2 + years of electrical installation experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
• Work in environments that may include heights, ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
• Work in confined spaces such as crawlspaces, attics, and mechanical rooms
• Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend, and climb for extended periods
• Use repetitive hand motions while handling tools, wiring, and electrical components
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Ensure compliance with NEC electrical codes and job specifications
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine effective solutions
• Supervise apprentices and assist with on-the-job training
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Coordinate with other trades, site supervisors, and project teams as needed
