Requirements

• Active Ohio Property & Casualty license (or strong motivation to obtain one – we'll help the right candidate get licensed)
• Self-starter mentality with a drive to exceed targets without waiting to be told what to do
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build authentic relationships with customers
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Disciplined follow-through and detail orientation when managing paperwork and compliance
• Optimistic attitude and genuine enthusiasm for being part of something new and growing

Responsibilities

• Solicit and write new lines of insurance business across a full product portfolio
• Quote policies accurately and efficiently using consistent internal processes
• Manage lead follow-up and application completion from first contact to bind
• Understand and adhere to underwriting guidelines for all carriers
• Ensure all documents are completed accurately and in compliance
• Plan and execute prospecting campaigns to develop new business pipelines
• Maintain current knowledge of company and state-required training
