About The Position

American Residential Services is the largest provider of residential services in the US, employing more than 7000 professionals across the country. Aksarben ARS has been serving its customers with HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical solutions for over 45 years since its establishment in 1975. As an AOR / HVAC Installation Mechanic, you would disassemble and remove old systems, then install, start-up and troubleshoot (if needed) new replacement HVAC systems in residential settings. Requirements

  • Journeyman HVAC license with City of Omaha.
  • At least 4 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
  • Comfortable in a lead role with a helper assigned.
  • Working knowledge of local inspection codes.
  • EPA Certification (assistance may be available).
  • Proven work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in attics, crawl spaces, and lift heavy objects regularly.
  • Willingness to work long, sporadic hours and/or weekends when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and remove old HVAC systems.
  • Install, start-up, and troubleshoot new HVAC systems in residential settings.
  • Participate in paid orientation and training.
